2007 | PhotoCentral, Hayward, CA | Portfolio Review- A groupshow The work presented resulted from the internal journey that each artist made in their exploration to reach 'transparency of the craft'. The theme of my portfolio was 'Landscape of Antarctica'. Though my travel to Antarctica was a few years ago, this is my first attempt to present the work I completed there in a fashionable and coherent manner. I chose 4 images to display in the Gallery in an 11x14 format. These images are part of a set of 15 images, presented together in the portfolio. The images in the portfolio are in a smaller format, thus they invite the viewer to come closer, and lead along an intimate travel experience in a far away land of ice, so immense and yet so fragile. |
2007- October | Open Studio, Sunset week-end, San Francisco, CA | After participating in several group shows, I've decided to take the plunge and do 'an open studio' -hosted in a private residency in the sunset. Pictures presented included Antarctica and Tibet as well as images taken closer to home in SF. This first open studio was a very pleasing and rewarding experience thanks to all who stoped by. |
2007- November | Broadway Studios, San Francisco, CA | A display of selected images from the series Landscape of Antarctica. |
